Journal Policies
The International Journal of Extensive Research (IJER) follows strict publishing policies to ensure transparency, integrity, and high academic standards in scholarly publishing. All authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to the following policies.
1. Peer Review Policy
IJER follows a double-blind peer review process, where both reviewers and authors remain anonymous.
- Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts
- Review is based on originality, relevance, methodology, and clarity
- Final decision is taken by the editorial board
- Review process typically takes 1–3 weeks
2. Publication Ethics
The journal is committed to maintaining high ethical standards.
Author Responsibilities
- Submit original and unpublished work
- Avoid plagiarism and data fabrication
- Properly cite all sources
- Ensure all co-authors have approved the manuscript
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Provide unbiased and constructive feedback
- Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts
- Declare conflicts of interest
Editor Responsibilities
- Ensure fair and unbiased decisions
- Maintain confidentiality
- Prevent unethical practices
3. Plagiarism Policy
- All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection tools
- Acceptable similarity index: below 15%
- Manuscripts exceeding limits may be:
- Rejected
- Returned for correction
Plagiarism in any form (including self-plagiarism) is strictly prohibited.
4. Open Access Policy
IJER is an open access journal, meaning:
- All articles are freely available online
- No subscription is required
- Readers can access, download, and share content
5. Copyright Policy
- Authors retain copyright of their work
- Authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute
- Proper citation is required for reuse
6. Licensing Policy
Published articles may be used for academic and research purposes with proper attribution. (You can later specify a Creative Commons license if needed.)
7. Archiving Policy
To ensure long-term preservation:
- Articles are stored in secure digital systems
- Content remains accessible even in case of technical failure
- Backup systems are maintained regularly
8. Retraction Policy
An article may be retracted if:
- Proven plagiarism
- Data fabrication or falsification
- Ethical violations
A retraction notice will be published clearly stating the reason.
9. Withdrawal Policy
- Authors can request withdrawal before publication
- After review or acceptance, withdrawal requires valid justification
- Unethical withdrawal may lead to author restrictions
10. Correction Policy
If errors are identified after publication:
- Minor errors → Correction notice
- Major errors → Retraction or revised version
11. Conflict of Interest Policy
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence the publication process.
12. Publication Frequency Policy
- IJER is published monthly (12 issues per year)
- Articles may be published online as soon as ready
13. Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

- Publication fees may apply for accepted manuscripts
- Fees are used for editorial and publishing services
- Details are communicated after acceptance
14. Privacy Statement
- Personal information (name, email, affiliation) is used only for journal purposes
- Information is not shared with third parties

- The journal and publisher are not responsible for any misuse of published content
